The Madness of Getting Ready
Some things are kinda fun, like setting up online billpaying through our bank.
Last night I chatted with a man who also loves Mexico. He cheerfully told me a hair-raising story of one of his adventures there, and I wondered if I wouldn't rather stay home and curl up under a thick quilt till spring comes to Colorado many months from now.
But today I started remembering some of our favorite places, and the warmth of the people. Back to the lists!

Thanks for your website! I'm a 54 year old retired teacher from Minneapolis (female) and winter's here, so I'm hoping to escape. Would love to drive my SUV to the "Costa Esmeralda" (Emerald Coast) north of Veracruz and tent on the beach with my dog for a few weeks in Jan./Feb. You camped there, so I'd be grateful for your insights:
Would it be warm enough for tent camping in winter?
Is the water warm enough for swimming?
Is the area friendly and safe?
Is it crowded?
Any info you can provide would be wonderful. Again, thanks for a marvelous website.
