But unfortunately the money is another story. It is not at all easy for Americans to earn money here, whether it be jobs or business. The red tape and corruption you could encounter as a business owner would not be fun, even if you are extremely fluent in Spanish. You can't get a visa to work here unless you are doing something a Mexican can't do, and speaking English doesn't qualify. With the economic downtown, a lot of Mexicans who speak excellent English have returned from the US. One thing you might consider, depending on you particular skills and interests, would be working online in some way. I'm a North American Black American(lol). Over the last 8 years have taken trips(6) to the resort towns CC,PV and have heard all good story about white americans making the transiction to Mexico life. And their not living the life of riley living the high life. The big question how about blacks. I will have some money to last about 5 years,but what about jobs or starting a small business like a bodaga(store). I need the name of cities with a large number Americans living there. NEED HELP. I living in New Jersey and the property tax killing me and the quaility of life sucks. I'm in my late forty and need a change. I’m very interested in moving to Mexico.
