Rosarito Resorts and Hotels

About 15 miles south of the U. S. border , the resorts and hotels of Rosarito Beach in Baja California offer a convenient and pleasant getaway, for a weekend or longer. Miles of beaches, stretching north towards Tijuana and south towards Ensenada, have comfortable modern condos, luxury oceanfront villas, and more. Many of these places have complete kitchens, and there are also many restaurants in Rosarito. Hotels in the town include Hotel La Fonda, Baja Newport Hotel, Las Rocas Hotel & Suites, Las Brisas del Mar Hotel, Los Pelicanos, and the Festival Plaza, which looks like a roller coaster.

You can swim, hike, loaf, party... in fact, Rosarito is a popular spring break spot, so depending on your age and tastes, you might want to skip Rosarito at that time!

The Rosarito Beach Hotel is the best known resort in the area. The first twelve rooms were built in 1926, and it's been expanded many times since. Located right on the beach, parts of the hotel still have the character of an earlier era. It offers many seasonal specials, wedding packages, and more. It really started the tradition of Rosarito resorts.
