Among the many hotels and resorts in Puerto Vallarta, the Camino Real has one of the nicest locations, in a little pocket of the gorgeous Banderas Bay, between the city and the Mismoloya Beach. Built in 1969 and renovated a few years ago,the Camino Real is a visual feast with blue tiles, spacious rooms with stunning views, a gourmet Mexican restaurant, and much more. How about marble floors? Due to being older, it has a lot of more traditional Mexican character. The staff are reported to be very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant food is said to be very good.
